Board approves IAG application, tables ICOS and policies; land contract stalls
Summary
The board approved this year's IAG application, tabled the ICOS report for the main building and tabled two policy items pending further materials or community input. A verbal land agreement again fell through when the owner changed his mind.
At the Jan. 30 meeting the board approved the district's IAG application on a motion by Nancy Armstrong-Montes; the motion carried. The board reviewed an ICOS report for the modular building but asked to see the report for the main building and TABLED the ICOS item until February to allow fuller review.
Old business items Policy 6220 and Policy 0537 (mission statement) were TABLED: Policy 6220 because the first page was missing and Policy 0537 until after an upcoming community meeting. The board also recorded that a previously verbal land contract agreement fell apart when the landowner changed his mind and did not approve a new contract. Board travel for Annette to a language conference was approved and the board asked that annual travel reservations be set up in August for March conferences.
