At the start of the meeting a staff member briefed commissioners on several recent actions previously handled by the planning and zoning commission and approved by city council.
The staff member reported the commission had recommended approval of a special use to allow concrete crushing and processing operations at 538 Louisville Road; the operation is now in operation. He also noted a zoning amendment at 3176 Dover Lane changing the property from R-3A multifamily to R-1A single-family was recommended by the commission and approved by council on May 19. The Knight Subdivision minor plat (southeast corner of Locust Street and Congress Street) was recommended by planning and zoning and approved by council at its May 5 meeting. The staff member also listed a zoning change at 167 North Kellogg Street to Central Business and a zoning amendment at 1120 North Henderson Street from neighborhood business to general business, both of which the commission recommended and the council approved on May 19.
These items were presented as updates and no further action was taken by the commission at this meeting.
