"We're planning to do a public hearing the June 17 before planning commission, and then planning commission can review that. And if I get with it, they'll recommend it to move on to council meeting. And then on the 22nd, it would come before city council to adopt that," Ken said. He noted the plan includes a schedule but staff can adjust dates in the Biolytics software if grant timing or priorities change.
Council members praised the work as a strong foundation but cautioned the timeline may be aggressive and emphasized the value of pursuing grants first to avoid unfunded obligations. Staff confirmed they provide grant-support services and will assist in matching projects to funding opportunities.
