Commission to update zoning map, add M&T Bank and study parking and loading requirements

Commissioners requested several map and code updates, including adding M&T Bank to the zoning map and correcting 64 and 66–70 N. Main St. to Borough Center. They also asked that properties on Cypress and Keener Lane be considered for industrial zoning.
Parking for the bowling alley was considered low priority, while adding parking requirements for rooming homes and daycare/nursery schools was placed on the to-do list. The commission discussed that requiring loading/unloading zones borough-wide could preclude many businesses because of limited space.
