Municipal authority seeks electronic changeable sign; borough staff flag size concerns

He said the sign was not intended to run 24 hours a day. Commissioner Beth Nidam noted that recent proposed ordinance changes could affect the request. Solicitor Mike Craley said how the request is handled will be up to the zoning officer; Borough Manager Michelle Poole observed that, based on the drawing dimensions, the proposed sign would be too large for the new ordinance as drafted. Atty. Craley also noted there may be public-service or public-agency clarifications worth investigating before council consideration.
