At its Dec. 23 workshop, the Town Council voted unanimously to award the sewer-lining contract to Livingston Septic for $75,000. Town Administrator Erin Braband presented the bid results, saying two bids were received — Livingston Septic and Insituform Technologies — and summarizing staff review.
"Commissioner Newnam made a motion to award the bid in the amount of $75,000 to Livingston Septic due to their bid price, their submittal of a responsive bid package and the Town’s satisfaction with their previous work on the sewer camera project," Commissioner Jeremy Newnam moved, and Commissioner Walter Chase seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The council roster at the start of the workshop included President Schmidt, Jeremy Newnam, Michael Sullivan and Walter Chase.
The administration did not provide a detailed line-item scope in the workshop minutes beyond noting the contractor selection and the quoted total. No council member registered a dissenting vote during the motion. The council completed the award as part of the workshop and moved on to other items before adjourning at 1:29 p.m.
