Mayor: Water lines installed, restorations continuing in Southeast Quadrant

"All of the lines have been put in, so just know that they're finished with that part," McDonald said, adding that residents should expect remaining work on grass, sidewalks and streets. She told listeners the schedule moved because "there was some delays, because there was a lot of workers at 1 time."
The mayor gave an estimated timeline of "by the middle of August towards the end" for restoration in the affected area and said the city will shift crews to the next area afterward. Residents in the quadrant should expect continued work, including surface repairs and landscaping, before the neighborhood is returned to full use.
McDonald urged patience while crews complete the visible repairs and said the underground utility work — the pipe installation — has been finished. She did not provide a formal written schedule or a department contact number during the address.
