Presenter says city lost $3.7 million in BRIC funding, applied to alternate federal program

"We got we lost $3,700,000 from the BRIC program when president Trump called back in some of the funding," the presenter said, adding that staff are hopeful the HNGP application will replace those dollars. The presenter tied the funding shortfall to the large Molly's Branch project on the town's west side and said the city is optimistic about the alternate application but has not yet secured the funds.
