Later in the meeting council approved city and hospital/clinic claims and additional claims that included RDO Equipment $103,417.60 for a 2026 John Deere payloader with trade, Clausen Sanitation Inc. $15,903.00 for monthly garbage collection, and other listed items. The clerk/finance officer recorded city prepaid and unpaid totals: City Prepaid $62,973.87 and City Unpaid $86,733.49; Hospital & Clinic Prepaid $423,993.02 and Hospital & Clinic Unpaid $326,036.51.
The council carried the payment motions on a roll-call vote with all members present voting "Yes." The meeting minutes do not record additional budget discussion tied to the payloader payment during the session.
