Selectboard member Peter Varkonyi presented a DLL permit request from Brownsville Butcher & Pantry for alcohol service at the Vermont 50 Mountain Bike or Ultra Run on Sept. 26–27, 2026. The minutes note the vendor has provided alcohol service for this event in previous years and that the service plan is expected to follow past practice.
The board approved the DLL permit and agreed to consider the event application itself at the Aug. 10 meeting. John Brodie moved to approve the DLL permit and Mark Harley seconded; the motion passed with all in favor according to the minutes.
