Clerk Clark Wallace read the meeting announcements: applications for the Durham County Cares employee-giving campaign are open through Feb. 21, and Durham County Transportation is seeking public input on its draft FY 2026 transit work plan with a public comment window from Jan. 31 to Feb. 21 and in-person tabling sessions Feb. 12 (10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.) and Feb. 18 (12:30–2:30 p.m.) at Durham Station. Wallace provided a contact email (transitplan@dconc.gov) and directed residents to the county website for additional information.
Other items included the Durham County Library's Black History Month events, a farmland protection public engagement meeting on Feb. 20, and a free voter photo identification event Feb. 22 at North Regional Library. Wallace advised residents to use county links and phone numbers provided in the agenda for registration and questions.
