Town Manager reports Proctor Place water-main work underway, park tree pruning quote accepted

Town Manager Judy Frazier highlighted several items in her report. She said the Proctor Place water main project has begun, staff spoke with the 61 Main St. property manager about grounds maintenance, and outreach to South Street property owners about median maintenance is underway. Frazier also reported that the town received a quote from Jeff Lear for tree pruning at Ormsbee and Main Street Park and that the pruning project is underway.
Frazier noted that members of the Emergency Action Plan team toured the Chittenden Reservoir and hydro plant. The minutes record that GMP assisted the town by removing a log jam against the Marble Bridge. She also said the RRPC erosion control inventory requires a $1,400 match (which can be satisfied with in-kind labor) and staff held meetings with UVM and AOT for a cost–benefit analysis.
