Board approves annual and five-year developer fee report for FY 2023/24

Melissa Kielpinski presented the report required under Government Code Sections 66001 and 66006 and Education Code Section 17620 et seq., explaining the report discloses beginning and ending balances, fees collected, interest earned, interfund transfers or loans (if applicable), refunds, and the programmatic identification of fee expenditures and anticipated construction start dates for listed improvements. Trustee Jack Thornburg moved to approve the resolution; Barbara Bigelow seconded and the motion passed.
The adoption fulfills statutory posting and reporting requirements for developer fees; staff will include the report in public records and follow up on any projects listed with revised start dates if construction did not commence as previously indicated.
