Chawanakee renews Apple JAMF device-management contract

The Chawanakee Unified School District board approved renewal of its JAMF Apple Mobile Device Management contract at the Jan. 14 meeting.
Filiberto Camacho, the district IT presenter, said JAMF enables efficient deployment of applications and software, inventory management and security for Apple devices across the district. The motion to approve the renewal was made by Jack Thornburg, seconded by Barbara Bigelow, and passed unanimously among trustees present.
District IT will continue to use JAMF for device configuration and security management and will report any changes to deployment or license costs to the board.
