The Code Department told the board that weekly meter inspections are ongoing and that the village is electrifying all parking meters. Officials said new sign posts and signage will be installed on Main Street by the DPW and that noise complaints will be routed to the appropriate department for resolution.
The board recorded a decision to begin ticketing in the CVS shopping center for vehicles blocking fire lanes and handicapped spaces, and said Main Street event security protocols will be reviewed with the Nassau County Police Department.
