Board sets superintendent salary and raises HDV cap to match staff

During the April meeting the Superintendent's Salary and Budget Committee presented comparative salary data and recommended a 10% increase to the County Superintendent's 2023–24 salary. The board approved setting the 2023–24 County Superintendent salary at $198,808.
Separately the board approved increasing the Health/Dental/Vision (HDV) employer contribution cap to $11,250 effective July 1, 2023, to match recent bargaining agreements for CCOE employees. Human Resources Director Sabrina Myers had recommended the alignment after agreements with bargaining units raised the HDV cap.
