Stacy, community outreach manager for Project 150, told the committee Project 150 provides free services to high‑school students who present a school ID, including boutiques where students may select clothing, hygiene supplies and weekly food options.
"We provide services for free to high school students with a high school ID," Stacy said, adding Project 150 operates two boutique locations and serves 84 high schools with portable or fixed sites. She said the organization distributes several hundred meal bags weekly (300–400 normally; recent weeks topped 500) and runs seasonal efforts such as holiday meal boxes and a scholarship program opening in January.
Stacy described operational details: students may visit boutiques every 30 days for clothing and hygiene, some donations skew heavily toward women's items and the organization requested full‑size hygiene and men's casual clothing. A student and community member, Araya Ramos, said she is organizing a fundraiser to collect toiletries, clothing and food for Project 150 and offered to coordinate supplies.
The committee discussed how members could share opportunities to raise awareness at schools and community events; Project 150 asked that volunteers and organizers direct families to its contacts and QR code on outreach flyers.
No formal vote was taken; committee members offered to share donation requests and outreach channels with their networks.
