A presenter (speaker 5) told the committee that Walter P. Moore & Associates was the most qualified firm for the 2027 major storm sewer repair project, which replaces more than 2,200 linear feet of deteriorating sewer infrastructure in multiple neighborhoods.
Staff said the RFQ drew seven responses and that the negotiated design fee will not exceed $400,319. Committee members raised questions about scope differences between maintenance-style pipe replacement and flood-control modeling; the committee moved and unanimously recommended the selection to city council.
