Board approves instructional-materials sufficiency, GANN limit and support for Proposition 2
Summary
Trustees unanimously passed Resolution No. 470 (instructional materials sufficiency), Resolution No. 471 (GANN limit) and Resolution No. 472 (support for Proposition 2) during the Sept. 12 meeting; a public hearing on Resolution 470 drew no comments.
The Board voted unanimously to approve three routine resolutions. After a public hearing that drew no public comment, the Board approved Resolution No. 470 certifying the sufficiency of instructional materials for the 2024–25 school year. The Board then approved Resolution No. 471 (annual GANN limit determination) and Resolution No. 472 stating that the district supports Proposition 2.
Motions and seconders were recorded in the minutes: Resolution No. 470 was moved by Tony Turri and seconded by Jim Bingham; Resolution No. 471 was moved by Todd Henderson and seconded by Cody Lamb; Resolution No. 472 was moved by Todd Henderson and seconded by Cody Lamb. All votes recorded unanimous ayes from the five trustees listed on the roll call for the votes.
