At the July 9 meeting the Colusa County Board of Education approved the Consent Agenda (items 9.1 and 9.2) with a motion by Diana Lytal and a second from Serena Morrow. The motion carried with three ayes and two absent members (Ed Conrado and Madison Martin). The board conditionally approved the minutes with the assurance that a typographical error—"conservate"—would be corrected to "conservative" on item 9.1, page 2, paragraph 1.
Board President Cristy Edwards noted a CSBA request for a COE staff member to complete a services survey; Michael West said he would coordinate with staff. Board member Serena Morrow said she "was interested in attending the 2025 CSBA County Board Conference in Monterey, September 5-7," and the board asked Tina Maxwell to determine whether other members wished to attend. The board also scheduled a group review of the CCBE County Board Member Handbook at the August 13 meeting.
