A staff report to the West Point Public Schools Board said, "ELPA testing for the ELL students has been completed." The report also provided testing windows: elementary NSCAS testing April 14–21, middle school NSCAS and MAP around April 20, and high school MAP testing the last week of April through the first week of May. Staff said a data dig for grades 7–12 is scheduled for April 24 to review assessment data leading into planning for 2026–2027.
Staff also reported that K–8 faculty met with Wisner-Pilger staff to review a new ELA curriculum and that all full-time teaching positions for 2026–2027 have been filled. The update included references to recent professional development activities and upcoming curriculum work tied to the Continuous Improvement Process.
