Commission identifies mapping and data errors to fix before final POCD publication

During final review of the POCD, commissioners pointed out several technical errors and asked staff to correct them prior to public release. Nick Ferris questioned the PA490 farmland map's failure to distinguish protected versus at‑risk farmland; John Guszkowski clarified that PA490 designations reflect tax status rather than permanent protection and agreed to verify and insert the most current map from the Tax Assessor.
Jason Arico identified that page 46 incorrectly listed Andover employers instead of Columbia employers and that the EO Smith High School enrollment figure on page 36 was shifted one column; Guszkowski confirmed the employer list will be corrected to Columbia Manufacturing, Hawk Integrated Plastics, Columbia Ford, Wile Motors and Eastconn and that the enrollment table formatting will be fixed. The commission approved the POCD with the requirement that these technical corrections be completed.
