Park board: 838 bags of trash removed in April–June; quarterly metrics adopted

The city of Kearney Park and Tree Board heard a parks maintenance update reporting that crews removed a combined total of 838 bags or barrels of trash from Mac Porter, Jesse James and Lions parks during the first quarter of the fiscal year (April–June).
"We have dumped in Mac Porter Park, Jesse James, and Lyons Park either a combined total of 838 bags of trash or barrels," Chair said during the presentation. Board members agreed to document and present similar metrics each quarter to track trends and maintenance needs.
