Utilities Director Scott Parris provided multiple infrastructure updates: phase 1 of the SCIIP project is nearing completion, phase 2 is progressing, and contractors working on Hwy 123 require close coordination with the city. He said bid documents for Lucky Street/James Street and Highland Avenue water-line replacements will be ready early next week and that county permits are in place.
Parris also said three SCADA bids were disqualified for not conforming to the RFP and that the city will restart the procurement process. He reported the Unity Tank Project plat is with the county for approval and that fencing work at Hall Road will be completed in the coming week. These items were presented as routine business updates with no council dissent recorded.
