The Westminster City Council approved second reading of Ordinance 01-13-2026-01 to rezone a 16.6-acre parcel on Anderson Avenue (TMS #530-12-01-010) from R-25 to R-20. The applicant indicated the rezoning would allow approximately 28 homes, about eight more than current R-25 zoning would permit.
Councilmember Daby Snipes moved for approval and Charles Morgan seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The minutes note that every adjoining property is already zoned R-20. The developer provided renderings and a proposed lot layout as guidance, with the minutes stating designs are subject to market conditions and utility access.
