Liaison: manufacturer to remanufacture peeling sculpture signage at no cost

Tanisha Jones, the commission liaison, told the panel that the 'pack' logo has been peeling off several of the new sculpture signage plates and that the manufacturer plans to remanufacture and reinstall the plates. "They are going to remanufacture and reinstall the plates, and they're gonna try it with a, I wanna say, a non matte finish," Jones said, and she indicated she had no installation date yet.
Commissioners asked how many signs were affected; Jones said roughly four of six signs show peeling. Jones said, to her knowledge, the vendor is covering replacement costs after consulting its ink supplier to diagnose why the red ink is failing. Commissioners agreed to monitor the replacements and pass along inquiries from residents who notice the issue.
