At its June 23 meeting the Stanhope Mayor and Council approved a package of routine resolutions. The governing body certified compliance with the Local Finance Board requirements for the 2025 audit (Resolution 100-26) and authorized submission of a Corrective Action Plan prepared by Chief Financial Officer Angelica Sabatini (Resolution 101-26).
Council also authorized reimbursement agreements with Highpoint and Stonegate Condominium Associations to compensate those associations for street lighting, leaf removal and snow plowing on internal roads (2025 agreements) and for solid-waste collection and disposal for calendar year 2026. The consent agenda included renewal of plenary retail consumption and distribution liquor licenses for local establishments and granted a 100% disabled-veteran property tax exemption for Gonzalo E. Pimentel effective May 21, 2026, with a $1,009.89 refund for the pro-rated second-quarter taxes.
