The Mayor and Council introduced an amendment to Ordinance 2026-03 by offering Ordinance 2026-15, which revises Code Section 100-102 related to the Affordable Housing Overlay Zone. The change removes Lot 9.01 from AHO-2 because it was not reflected in the borough’s Housing Element and Fair Share Plan and confirms the intended lot list for AHO-2 as Block 11701 Lots 1–10 plus 7.01 and 9.02.
The Clerk was directed to give required notice and circulate the ordinance to the County Planning Board and the Land Use Board for review before the July 28, 2026 public hearing; upon adoption the Clerk will file the finalized ordinance with the Sussex County Planning Board as required by statute.
