Recreation Committee crowns Melia Gomez Miss Stanhope; Little Miss winners announced

The Recreation Committee presented winners of the borough’s recent pageants and Mayor Wronko congratulated the honorees. Committee member Darren Large introduced the Little Miss winners, Ella Borngesser and Noelle Brumbaugh, who received tiaras, sashes and flowers.
"The winner of the Miss Stanhope contest is Melia Gomez who was presented with her tiara, sash and flowers," Darren Large said. The council and attendees congratulated Gomez, who will represent Stanhope at the Sussex County State Fair in August. Mayor Wronko thanked the Recreation Committee for organizing the contests.
