Mister Shaw described Contract Modification No. 2 with DGL Consulting Engineers to complete items outside the original scope: a second public open house, gateway signage foundations and electrical work, and a scaled-back scope at Maplewood Mini Park. The amendment was for up to $25,002 and council adopted Ordinance 68-2026 as an emergency measure.
Shaw also presented the procurement results for the Main & Convent roundabout engineering: five letters of interest were received and Tetra Tech was selected after scoring and negotiations at a proposed price of $387,700. Council approved Ordinance 69-2026 to accept the Tetra Tech proposal and appropriate funds for the federally aided project.
