He said the county allowed the city to make two payments per year (April and August) and that the city budgeted the amounts in the appropriate account.
Shaw said the administration expects to work through crediting and documentation with the county engineer and estimated the city might recover roughly $30,000–$40,000 in credits in year one; council passed Ordinance 63-2026 and Ordinance 64-2026 to appropriate the funds and direct payment.
