Finance Committee reviews 2025 year-end recapitulation and 2026 Budget Books; Q1 capital review planned

Finance Committee chair Peter J. Winzig reported that the committee reviewed the December 31, 2025 year-end recapitulation and the January 2026 finance reports prepared by Finance Director Jim Milton. Committee members also walked through the 2026 Budget Books with Director Milton and thanked him for the level of detail provided.
Winzig said the Committee plans to meet again at the end of the first quarter to review the overall Capital Budget with attention to projects carried from 2025 and newly budgeted projects for 2026; the stated goal is to clear carryover items where possible and update the capital report at the next review.
