After questions about future staffing and the feasibility of a buyout, a motion to approve the two‑year extension with the conversion fee carried; the motion recorded at least one nay. Staff said the council can revisit the platform again at the end of the extended term and that the conversion would aim to make the site easier for city staff to update without advanced technical expertise.
