Resolution 085-26 authorizes the Mayor to execute an employment agreement for Joseph Johnson as Chief of Police covering March 24, 2026 through December 31, 2028. The resolution states the Mayor and Council reviewed and deemed the agreement acceptable and directed the Borough Clerk to attest to the Mayor’s signature.
The council also adopted Resolution 086-26, approving a stipend of $3,800 to Joseph Johnson for serving as Acting Chief of Police from January 1, 2026 through March 24, 2026. Both resolutions passed by unanimous roll call vote of members present.
