Borough secures HUD access for water tower project; preliminary engineering proposals submitted

During the engineer’s report Eric Keller and Administrator McNeilly informed the council that the Borough has obtained access to HUD funding for a water tower project.
Keller said he has provided a proposal for preliminary engineering services and a geotechnical services proposal; he noted soil borings will be required and that the geotechnical contractor has agreed to hold their price. The administrator confirmed that the Borough now has access to the grant funding and staff will advance preliminary engineering work to begin planning the project.
