The Rumford Board of Select Persons voted 4-0 on Sept. 19 to approve multiple local business licenses presented during a public hearing. DiConzo moved to approve the hawking and peddling license for Riley's Quench (applicant Jim Windover) and the liquor license and special amusement permit for 49 Franklin (applicants Cindy and Scot Grassette); Sax seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The approvals were taken immediately following the public hearing on the items. The meeting minutes record the action succinctly as a consolidated approval of the licenses; no fees or special conditions beyond the standard licensing process are listed in the record.
