Mike Amabile and Mike Wilson presented NWEA student-growth results to the Boyne City Board of Education and reported that K–8 students met all district goals on the assessment. "K-8 met all of the goals on the NWEA testing for BCPS. This is the first time this has happened," a presenter told trustees.
Board members called the results encouraging and noted the finding as a key indicator for instruction and intervention planning for the upcoming school year. The presentation was given during the June 8 regular meeting and was described as a district milestone by Amabile and Wilson.
