The Affirmative Action Monitoring Committee convened at 6:04 p.m. but adjourned two minutes later after the chair confirmed the absence of a quorum.
The chair noted that Patty had emailed she would not attend and that Anita and Justin were present, then said, “since we are unable to do any business because we don't have a quorum, my recommendation is that we are going to have a special meeting so we can address all these… minutes that we need to review and all material from the affirmative action monitoring committee.” The chair asked staff to coordinate with Faith to set a date and asked members to allow two to three weeks for scheduling while she recovers. A committee member suggested touching base on Sept. 6 to pick a date.
No presentations, public comments, votes, motions, or formal decisions were conducted before the meeting was adjourned at 6:06 p.m. The committee plans to meet at a special session to complete review of minutes and materials.
