The Village of Beecher Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve payment of bills totaling $65,411.29 and payroll at its Nov. 24 meeting. Trustee Kraus moved to approve the bills and Trustee Diachenko seconded; the motion carried with five ayes and no nays.
Trustee Kraus also moved to approve Resolution #2025-09 appointing a new Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) authorized agent; Trustee Smith seconded and the resolution passed unanimously. The board reviewed histories of major fund balances and property tax levies, and sent the 2025 tax levy (collectible in 2026) to the committee for further review and recommendations.
