Later in the same agenda item the committee approved, by a 5-0 vote, to seek bids or purchase an 8x8 or 10x10 shade to provide personnel behind the announcer stand protection from sun and elements. The committee deferred action on a proposed tractor purchase, replacement blinds and the arena drag, directing follow-up when town staff are present to provide additional information.
Committee members emphasized that town staff follow-up is required for the tractor, blinds and drag so that specifications, budget implications and procurement paths can be clarified before any vote. No public comment was recorded during the discussion.
