Council to renew LEAP after-school agreement; staff to pursue ADA parking at 1513 Main St.

City Manager Mr. Alexander said the police and schools will renew participation in the LEAP after-school program and the school district would reimburse the city $8,735.04 for officer participation. "The city school district, through this agreement, will be reimbursing the city a total of $8,735.04. The program will be 2 days a week from 4 to 05:30. It would start September 30 and go through 05/01/2025," Mr. Alexander said.
Staff also reported a resident request for an ADA parking space at 1513 Main Street; the chief met with the resident and recommended beginning the process to amend the city's vehicle-and-traffic code to add the space. Councilmembers signaled support and staff said a resolution to start the change process will be brought back to council.
