During its Feb. 17 meeting the McGill Town Council reviewed its special-projects list and recorded next steps for several items.
Council agreed the KCC Circle Fountain will remain on the list pending further information. The Kinnear Library/McGill Town Hall parking-lot project was noted as a White Pine County responsibility and the council asked the county to find funding immediately. The McGill ballpark remains on the list and "will remain on the list and hopefully will be submitted in the next round of SNPLMA funding," the minutes record. The restroom facility at Avenue K Park was removed from the list until funding is identified. Council members also documented several missing street signs at Avenue R and several south-end streets and cross streets near Circle Park for future attention.
No formal funding decisions were made; many items were recorded for later follow-up and potential grant or county funding requests.
