McGill council approves purchase of four Main Street Christmas decorations

The council agreed to partner with a local group to share shipping costs for the decorations.
Member John Grant moved to purchase the four selected decorations and Member Sue Manning seconded. "The motion passed with a quorum of those members present," the minutes record. Council took no further action beyond authorizing the purchase and cost-sharing arrangement.
