The committee discussed operations including collection of gate fees and scheduling of a youth ride day.
Joe Toste advised against collecting entry fees until a more professional-grade track is in place. Jimmy Lewis noted the current lack of a reliable fee-collection method and proposed renting the facility to private operators as a possible revenue option; Debra Strickland opposed charging fees on the grounds that the site is a public park. The committee unanimously agreed to skip a youth ride day in June because of uncertain equipment and personnel availability. "Motion to postpone scheduling a ride day until the July meeting" was made by Jimmy Lewis and seconded by Doug Martin.
The committee also set its next meeting for July 2, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building, via a motion by Doug Martin seconded by Joe Steidl. No additional operational changes were approved at the June 4 meeting.
