Board of Supervisors: Supervisor Paul Stimpson moved to approve the Board agenda; Supervisor Robert Saunders seconded. Recorded vote: Mr. Hamlet —6 aye; Mr. Newman —6 aye; Mrs. Tyree —6 absent; Mr. Stimpson —6 aye; Mr. Saunders —6 aye. The Board later moved to adjourn until its next monthly meeting on May 12, 2026 on a motion by Supervisor Bryan Hamlet, seconded by Supervisor Robert Saunders (vote recorded as carried).
Economic Development Authority: Chairman John Seal moved to amend the EDA agenda; Director James Ennis seconded and the amendment carried. Director Ennis later moved and Director Mozingo seconded approval of the EDA agenda as amended (unanimous). Director Glenn Mozingo then moved, Director C. Gene Brooks seconded, and the Authority carried a motion to table the Deed of Correction until May 19, 2026 (vote recorded unanimous). Finally, Director Mozingo moved and Director Ennis seconded a motion to adjourn the EDA until May 19, 2026; the motion carried unanimously.
