The Planning Commission voted to grant a one-year extension for four parcels at Storm Hill to allow applicants and their engineering team to finalize easement vacations and lot-line realignments. Staff told the commission the association of property owners had approved trail alignments and the applicant had taken steps to resolve outstanding engineering and easement issues.
Staff said the remaining work is the engineers’ finalization and county recording of the documents. “They have been showing a good faith effort through this process. However, it does need to be finalized by the engineers and recorded with the county,” staff said during the presentation. The commission opened public comment and, receiving no testimony, approved the resolution for the additional year. Staff and commissioners noted the project cannot receive permits until recording is complete.
