At the April 22 meeting the council waived full reading and introduced an ordinance to amend Section 2.55.060 of Title 2, Chapter 2.55 of the Kerman Municipal Code. The amendment would adjust the boundaries of City Council Election District Nos. 1, 3 and 4 and add recently annexed property to the district boundaries map.
The recommendation was moved, seconded and the motion passed unanimously among present members (Ayes: Herrera, Hall, Dhaliwal, Yep; Absent: Pacheco). The ordinance was introduced by title only and will follow the city's standard ordinance adoption process including subsequent readings and required notices.
