Nancy Wareham told the council she reviewed the original 2010 agreement and found some obligations that may not be met (geriatric physician availability, functional pull-strings in bathrooms, computer center access). Residents said some tenants are hesitant to attend public meetings and asked for the city to conduct outreach, social-service referrals and, if appropriate, legal review. Councilmembers acknowledged the concerns and asked staff to consult planning and corporation counsel and explore available tenant-protection or outreach options.
