Board approves $8,550 sewer-line replacement at county building, hears property committee update

The DeWitt County Board voted April 24 to accept Trimble Plumbing’s estimate of $8,550 to replace a sewer line in the county building. The motion, moved by Ferguson and seconded by Tilley, carried with all members present voting aye.
Ferguson also reported that Sam Devore will begin a courthouse landscaping project this coming weekend and plans to perform most work on weekends to avoid interfering with county operations. Both items were recorded in committee reports and minutes filed with the county records.
