Later the committee went into executive session for litigation at 6:39 p.m. (motion by Tilley, second by Myers) and returned to open session at 6:54 p.m. The minutes record the motions and times but โ appropriately for closed sessions โ do not include the substance of the private discussions.
The minutes reflect the committee followed proper procedure by making motions in open session to enter and exit executive session; no formal votes on matters discussed in executive session are recorded in the open minutes.
